Cheap strength insurance for college students?
I live in Orlando, FL and i'm a non-smoking college student. Does anyone know of any cheap strength insurance or even health discount plans that I could return with on just to cover the cost of my Bipolar disorder meds and possibly a couple of visit to the psychiatrist? Yearly physicals and examinations I can handle, but this psychiatrist that I see is $200.00 a look in PLUS the cost of all of the perscriptions he prescribes to me. HELP!

If you're still in college, can't you be covered lower than your parents' medical insurance? pccti you cant reach them at pccti.com are IT and healthcare. i hold their health plan it's really cheap as long as you dont plunge in the criteria of terribly expensive "candidate for robustness insurance"
Answers: I antipathy to be the bearer of bad communication but all the individual plans within my state, and probably in Florida as powerfully, will decline to accept anyone beside Bipolar Disorder. Your college may have a plan available that you can possibly grasp but those plans don't cover mental health contained by most cases. You can try calling some local agents that work with adjectives the major plans to see if near are plans available to you.
Be very suspicious of medical discount cards. They are not regulated by the Department of Insurance nor do the people that put up for sale them need to be licensed. This process you have little recourse when you own problems with the plan. If you are tempt by the low price and claims of “save up to 80%” be aware that very few doctors in actual fact take these cards. It does you little apt if you have to drive 4 hours to find a doctor that will adopt the card. Montana couldn’t find any doctors in the complete state that actually took the card and lone one dentist who was on probation for unlawful comings and goings so they banned the Dutch auction of the card and fined the company. See this link http://www.insurancejournal.com/news/wes... for more information. Many other states are starting to make illegal these cards as well, including FL.
Before signing up near any discount plan get a catalogue of doctors. If they won’t give you a account consider it to be a scam. Call the doctors on the list to build sure they’re still taking the card (many don’t even know that they’re listed as a provider) and that they’re accepting current patients.
