Whats the point of Third Party Insurance?
Why do insurance companies in the UK try to put up for sale off temptingly cheap third event insurance policies to customers even if they have expensive cars? Are they trying to tempt you to filch a risk incase you crash the car thats utter 'your fault' to save them a payout?
At the cessation of the day, near should be no reason really for insurance companies to overcharge someone who have a cheap car, beside a fully comprehensive insurance policy because the cost of replacing this 'cheap car' will be next to nought anyway.
Recently I crashed a very expensive motor into a country wall and lost lb7000 - which was the plus of the car, totally written rotten.
I paid Churchill insurance company a especially expensive third party premium, stupidly, and the vivaciously too the money off me because the fully comprehensive price be just agency too expensive.
Now surprise surprise they don't want to know, and am left paying sour the loan on a car for the subsequent 10 years which i haven't even got.
I'm stupid - but get tempted.
well by imperative you need to own a least third delegation cover by law. it would enjoy been your decree on what cover you wanted. and i am completely surprised that whoever give you the loan for the car did not insist you hold fully comprehensive. unless you didnt tell them your loan be for a car. insurance is not other about how cheap it is its the cover and service you receive from them. most car insurance companies brand a loss every year especially churchill on the income from premiums and the amount they pay out on claims The minimum cover required to drive within this country is third party solitary.
I assume you must have read the cover and limitations beforehand you bought the plicy and you therefore own no cause to complain.
If you did not fathom out the cover provided then why did you buy the policy - do you take home a habit of buying things you don't take to mean just because they are cheap?
Sorry your lesson be so expensive - next time stir to an expert - an Insurance Broker.
Remember the saw 'He who acts as his own advocate has a fool for a client"?
It pays for departure or injury to third parties.Passengers,or other road users. Yes that would be the function. It makes them more richer.
Answers: You know the christmas party the insurance companies have at the conclude of the year, well your premiums money for the drinks, just similar to the advert on TV.It is a well particular fact that motor insurance is a massive rip sour, its the same next to the fuel companies, they are losing money on petrol profits because of the switch to diesel engined cars, which are cleaner, greener and more economic, and so they put the price of DERV up to compensate ,even though it is cheaper to produce.THE MOTORISTS IS THE ONLY CREATURE ON EARTH THAT IS BEING PERMANENTLY RAPED ROTTEN.
I agree they should make it plain that if you are buying the motor with borrowed money, third delegation insurance is inappropriate.
I'm sorry that you own been caught out similar to this.
But look on the bright side and I am not trying to be funny. You wrote off a saloon and you are still here to tell the narrative.
third shindig insurance pays if u hit another car or personage, its the minimum by law u can hold, if u choose not to have comprehensive next its up to u but then u r not covered for any weaken u do yourself as u have found out. The third deputation cover is a legal requirement to settle for the wall you drove into!
not taking fully comp is a risk you as the person taking out the insurance have need of to make. You are the first personage not the third - damage to you and your property (car) are not covered.
what did you estimate the difference was?
be is miss sold to you - if so you have the potential for a claim against the firm than sold you the policy.
even if the happenstance was not your failure they would not have compensated you - you would need to claim sour the other party.
terribly rich people solitary go for third participant insurance as the cost of replacing a car can be cheeper than replacing the saloon in the long occupancy.
while the car may be written past its sell-by date in insurance vocabulary - you may well know how to get it repaired and hindmost on the road - better something than nought??
It pays for the deface that you do to others, as you crash into walls you could just as glib kill or injure someone. its at hand to cover other road users and if you get sued by the city for wound to thier street furniture
third party covers single the person you enjoy an accident witth-------- not you or your coupé Yes, I've got to agree near you, you're stupid, were you mortal a 'poser' by having a drastically expensive car, third delegation, at least the wall that jump out in front of you will be repaired, and why should Churchill be interested contained by your uninsured car, they're 'expensive' fully comp. dosen't nouns so expensive now.
