Can I draw from vigour insurance working for a small business as a volunteer?

I work in a small relatives business as a volunteer. Can I participate within the health insurance plan offered through the business even though I don't receive a paycheck?.
Group health insurance is for force. Have the owner contact his agent for details. I don't know of any insurance carriers that will treat volunteers as workforce for qualification purposes.
Probably not, unless the small business is likely to pay the entire premium for you (which they probably would not do). Have you asked the owner roughly this?

I only ask because most small businesses and especially relatives owned ones, usually do not have form insurance options available to human resources, and actually even they may not own insurance themselves, because of the high cost of insurance today. So if you enjoy not, are you positive that they even provide insurance?

Another thing that make this a bit confusing without more details, is why you are volunteering near, rather than one a pt paid hand? Is it because it is a small family business and they can't afford to wage employees? Or is it something that you simply really like to do and want to sustain out?

I have see many different situations similar to these, and actually work beside people to find them the best available alternative in regard to either Insurance or another plan. If you'd close to to contact me, do so through my profile page and I'd be more than happy to try and help out you find a solution to your problem.

All my best!
