Life insurance sound out?
My parents are divorced and my dad is trying to get life insurance for himself. He say he needs my brother's and my information like SSN and birth certificate. Does he need them? My mom doesn't want to give them to him but I have need of to know?
It is possible he might inevitability the SSN to name you as beneficiary, but he shouldn't need a birth permit. The insurance company won't even need his birth certificate.
I'm not sure what he is up to. Maybe ask him for a few more details and consequently ask again.
He's entitled to the information, contained by any case. Likely, if he's trying to name you and/or your brother as beneficiary of the policy, the insurance company wishes your ss numbers.
But ANYONE can request your birth certificate - even me. You only stipulation to contact the city hall where you be born, with your name and date of birth, and the excise, and voila, they'll mail you the birth certificates.
