Is sky insurance realkly needed?

I was discussion to a friend last dark and she said that if my sky+ broke down that I could cancel contract and consequently become a new customer. have anyone else done this and succeeded. Or should I keep my insurance.
i think you should not win insurance becuase its just a spend foolishly of money
ur sky poeple should be able to go and get u a new one if u enjoy been next to then for a long time
it also matter if u got children
if u live alone later there is a smaller amount chance it will break
I without a doubt wouldn't pay insurance, it once in a while works out to be good appeal.
A lot of the older Sky+ boxes be very criticize prone, later ones seem to be better, but if yours is out of guarantee, you can easily carry it repaired or buy a used replacement.
You'd struggle to get Sky to reinstall a unsullied one as a new customer, as any discounts are restricted to one per household, but it may work - I wouldn't close to to guarantee it though.

Answers:   Sky will not consent to you cancel and become a alien customer.

If the insurance is not expensive then maintain it, the call out charge is high-ranking. I got sky+ surrounded by November, this is the third box under warranty and two ring up outs to re-set a fault. The equipment on the outside of the dish is also unstable if facing prevailing bad weather, ie crisscross and rain.
