How much does credit affect the amount rewarded for vehicle insurance?

the better your credit the smaller quantity you pay in premiums. insurance companies enjoy what they call "tiers". the better the credit the higher the "tier" you dance into. credit is however only one factor in what you discharge.
Well, it's a moderate amount, but not as much as right to be heard a DUI. So driving record is still more important, most of the time.

You can't read out "oh, 20%" because that's not true. What a lot of companies do, is look at your score, and voice, ok, the SCORE is "tier 4" for rates. Then they look at your violations, and add two for an luck, one for a ticket, two for a youthful driver, etc. And whatever the tier you run out up with in the wind up, is the RATE that you get.

So credit is more the STARTING point, than the ending point.

if your credit is bad you pay illustrious costs if good cheaper

Answers:    There are plenty of reputable insurance companies out there that do not pull credit; for example: Erie and Kemper. I own found that Erie (not offered in all states), is cheaper than the other "big boys" (State Farm, Allstate, etc) for one and the same coverage. I would suggest going to an Independent Agent for quotes. Simply let them know you do not want credit pulled as a basis for coverage.
