If someone takes out an insurance policy, without unfolding the insurance company that they had been disqualified within the past from driving - say 4 years ago, and after has an accident and make a claim, is the insurance company able to check with the DVLA a drivers previous history?
This person also has a duplicate copy of a verbs licence from the past.

Answers:    Most insurance contracts give the insurer okay to look into your past history. You have to tender this permission if you want coverage.

Many insurers do full underwriting up front and would pick up this around the time of application. Others rely on your answers but investigate at time of claim. With the permission you gave when applying.

If this being has somehow omitted facts on the application or has lied ... that will plausible void the contract ... and possibly be a fraudulent offense.
