What can I do to carry my rx cheap or free minus form insurance?
I am taking Femhrt for early menopause, minus it I have horrible hot flashes and other side effects that are seriously interfering next to my life. I live within NY, lost health insurance when my employer have some big layoff's. Still working part time and brand $47 a month to much to qualify for state sponsored health insurance and still can by a hair`s breadth make ends come together. I really don't want ot not take the rx, but at almost $90 I can't afford to buy the med. I've hear there are programs for relatives to get free meds but I don't know where on earth to start. My doctor is trying to see if the rx company might give me some free sample but doesn't have any other concept and not sure if they will do that. Help.
Ask your doctor if a cheaper generic exists.
Maybe you should think roughly speaking getting a full-time job so you can purloin care of yourself. There is a exceedingly limited availability of free pills for those who are truly in have need of, and that means society who can't work because they are disabled, etc. You print out a list of the Target $4 prescriptions, and Sam's Club, and bring the roll to your doc, to get a generic that does almost one and the same thing, for $4 a month.
Answers: Contact the drug manufacturer yourself. Sometimes they own programs for folks that are lower income to get reduced cost drugs.
I know the form department offers lower cost medical comfort. I don't know if they help next to drugs. Can't hurt to call them. If they don't they may hold a suggestion.
Is a generic available?
Is there another drug specifically cheaper and can help beside the symptoms.
Good Luck.
