How come they didn't issue me a tentative strength card solitary my husband?
We renencly got married and had accessible enrollment and they sent us the new info but they only sent my husband a card not me. Its a group plan but don't I call for something with my name on it. We call and they said that I am covered.
My wife and daughter are covered by my group plan but only my name appears on the insurance cards. No problems. The card simply has a space for "Contract Holder Name" so they wouldn't be able to issue one beside either of their names on it anyway.
Answers: Many insurers only issue a card with the identify of the policyholder on it. The card is valid for any eligible dependent on the policy, but they won't receive a card with their name on it.
(My current insurer does this, and also the insurer I used to work for did that.)
If you want to confirm whether you're supposed to own a card with your own name on it, phone your insurer. Otherwise, you should just use the card with your husband's identify on it.
So ring up again and ask them to send you a card with your baptize on it.
It shouldn't be a problem.
Call again, and ask them to convey you a card with YOUR name on it.
