I will be drawing long term disability from the company I work for. Do you know where on earth I can buy reasonable form and prescription coverage? I cannot afford $425.00 a month for cobra.

you may qualify for Medicare with your disability. Medicare member D now covers RX. Check near Social Security office hard by you.

If you can't afford $425/mo then you can't afford ANY apt coverage. I suggest you enroll in Medicaid. You should be eligible because you will draw disability.

Unfortunately, You are going to have a difficult time finding affordable insurance coverage. You might check beside the department of insurance of the state that you live in... They might enjoy some helpful suggestions. As to the post more or less Medicaid...Your income from the disability will probably put you over the income limits. But, you can still check on it. You might qualify for food stamps, though.
