Can anyone recommend any company that offer good insurance?
I'm trying to shop for insurance companies that are reliable and offer good deals for a family plan covering house and several cars? Any recommendations?
I have shopped around and compared companies and found Nationwide was the lowest in cost for the coverage received. They have my home and autos. I even tried GEICO and they couldn't even come close.
Well, it depends a lot on where you live. For national carriers, I really like Travelers, but a small, regional carrier like Erie would probably do better by you.

There's no such thing as a "good" insurance company if you ask me.
Blue cross and blue shield is a good company.They have good rate plans try to look them up on the web.they would give you a free quote then contact you by telephone. If all goes well they also would send a representative out your house.

It will vary by state... National carriers that are usually pretty good are: Hartford, Farmers, American Family, State Farm...
Depending on the number of cars and the value of the home, you might want to look at AIG, they have an above average policy with competitive rates for those homes that are over $300,000 in value and for folks who have more than 2 vehicles. Granted this policy is not your typical American Family, All State, State Farm policy...
When you are looking for the insurance, you may look carefully what are the coverages. If you are not sure what you are looking for, you should looking for a reliable agent who can explain all you question regarding insurance.
