Should a company you apply to earnings for the drug carrying out tests if it is required?

My husband has lately applied with a company and from what he can share he has to settle up for the drug testing.
If he does not want to pay for the drug conducting tests.then he will not enjoy the drug test and he will not acquire the job.

If he desires the job...suck it up and pay envelope for the test. Otherwise, keep hold of looking.

It does not matter what a company "should" or "should not" do. it's not going to silver your situation. The company is not required to pay for the drug tryout and chose not to.

So, how bad does he want the work?
Its pretty adjectives for employers to require a drug testing of prospective employees.

However, I've never hear of a company making the potential employee reimburse for the drug test. That's for a moment unusual.

I'd be suspicious if they required your husband to pay. If they expect the member of staff to pick up the tab for something like that, who know how else that company will try to stiff the employees?

P.S. I work for a hospital that also have an occupational medical clinic...tons employers surrounded by our area hold accounts set up with us to automatically knob the drug tests of their potential different employees. So, I can markedly vouch for the fact that frequent (if not most) employers pick up the tab for that sort of point.
if they require it they should income for it find out about your states labor law
From my experience, anything that is REQUIRED, the company requiring it must reward for it. Normally they pay for it.

Answers:   almost adjectives companies require this now, and I can relate to why, as long as a prospect member of staff dont have to settle up, they dont care if they can slip away or not, odds are if they own to pay, as long as at hand is a doubt, they wont test. Its economics at work. Now once he's bygone that one, he wont have to reward for the randoms they may issue, but its common to hold to pay for the first one yourself.
