Has anyone had a claim for Pemanent Health Insurance rejected unreasonably?
no, haven't applied
The trouble is that your idea of unreasonable is their idea of "You should have read the small print."
I used to work in PHI but left in 1985 so my info is probably out of date.
Yes.....Insurance Companies will take your money but won't pay out if you need it...it is a game that they now play...you have to spend money to hire a Lawyer to collect money that they owe you..then they make offers between your Lawyer and them...The Lawyer will get 30 to 40 percent of what the Insurance Companies finally pay out. It's just not right...Insurance companies should be held accountable for their actions. I know from experience.
Call the insurance commission located in your state, they can start an investagation into the matter.
