My insurance company requirements me to sign this tabloid:?
I have file a claim with my insurance company due to the breaking and entering of my vehicle for the undermined done to my vehicle.
The insurance representative wants me to sign a "Proof of Loss" and a "Trust Agreement".
I do NOT get the impression comfortable signing this document. He also will NOT release a copy of the adjuster's report until I sign this.
Do I have to sign this? What are my rights?
Why are you "not comfortable"? What do they right to be heard that you don't like?
OK, the proof of loss is required, within order for your claim to return with paid.
You're unable to a copy of the adjuster's report. Period.
Regarding the deductible, it's going to get subtracted from the payout, and the subrogation rights after go to the holder.
These are all contract lingo, spelled out in your policy. You agreed to it, even if you didn't read the policy. If you don't sign, they won't reimburse - and they'll be absolutely right to not pay cheque, as you, the insured, are not cooperating, and don't want to follow the terms of the policy.
Answers: Never hear of a "trust agreement" what does it mean?
The proof of loss is hugely standard form. Sign it. Or it if you feel any one is incorrect contact an attorney for review. The carrier will keep on. They have no choice.
No signature means no dealing will be taken on your claim. If you don't sign it you won't get a settlement.
you call for to sign it or you wont get a settlement. why dont you want to sign it? its standard and no big promise unless YOU have a rationale we dont know about If the insurance company recover the deductable they have to settlement that to you they can not get salaried both ways.
