What is 7% whole person impairment worth in money?

7% of what.. your income?
Can't find full explanation here
There are a lot of factors that go into determining how much money a permanent impairment is worth. Things such as how old you are, what you do for work, what condition you were in before the accident etc. If that 7% is something that prevents you from performing your job than it will be worth more than something that will just be an annoyance. Also, there may be future medical care involved, which would also be considered. It will also be looked at how the 7% figure was arrived at. There are very specific criteria that have to be met and followed by the M.D. who conducted the impairment exam. Deriving a value is impossible without all of the facts, the only thing I will say for certain is that you will get more money with a permanent impairment.
im not so sure about 7 but i know that i got rated 35% and it isnt that much.

it also depends on your wages.

what im basing this on is workmans compensation in missouri. so if you are in another state, it might be more. but the money is nothing to brag about.

a friend of mine got chemical burns on his feet and hands and wont work again and he ended up getting something like 13,000 but i dont know how high his disability was rated.
