I worked surrounded by the Ins industry and file a workers comp claim, should this maintain me from getting a similar post?

I 've had a few interviews near similar companies as a customer service rep and I feel confident I can do the career, but they either don't phone me back, or they turn me down.

Because of ADA, perspective employer cannot ask you if you have ever have a work comp claim, so don't volunteer that fact any. You may be setting yourself up for failure if you do. As others hold noted, you may not be getting the job because you don't come across ably in the interview process. Or frequent other reasons too. This shouldn't be a factor, unless you tried to milk it.
