Has anyone worked as an insurance agaent for any company. I am roughly to work for Farmers? Heard anything?



I worked for Farmers for about 2 months and moved on. My boss (agency owner) be great as were all employess. Did not close to Farmers. I came from working for an independent agent and went right vertebrae to it. I prefer that to working for an exclusive agent any day.


Answers:    It's a tough sales job. You necessitate to play it like a game. Don't consent to it get personal - daily rejection is the norm.
The reward is great once you get your groove on though.
Finding your own leads is the hardest - they can be bought though. I reccommend reading the red book of sale for great ideas.
You have to get your own customers. That medium knocking on doors and cold calling in the evening and weekends.
I heard Farmers Insurance treats their agents truly. High turnover etc
