I a short time ago moved from Massachusetts to California. Will my coup¨¦ insurance/accident history carry transfered?
I have hear that Massachusetts insurance companies are typically independent of California insurance companies. As a consequence, California insurance companies wont have access to my accounts in Mass. This would penny-pinching that my old claims/history won't affect my current insurance policy in California. Can someone relate me if this true.

You stipulation to get insured within California - you can most likely use like insurance company but would need to conform to CA law of limits of liability PIP or doesn`t matter what else might not be on your current policy. It will also have to be in synch to statistic information for CA resulting in greater or lower rates depending on the difference of statistics you had surrounded by MASS.
Every time you move you should inform your insurance company of the change of address, distance driven to work/school, etc so that you hang on to proper coverage for the new nouns and don't get cited for "insurance fraud" if the wrong information is not supplied to the comany. Many insurance companies work through most states; make conversation to yours about these change.

The consequence doesn't follow, though. They still all subscribe to the Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange, and the MVR chronicles are shared. So yes, your old claims history and drivng history will show.
YES - car insurance/accident history is becoming more centralized every daylight. Just like here are companies that specialize in credit information, near are companies that specialize in the insurance information industry.

I am not sure anymore but I know when I first moved out of MA my driving record did not follow me. There are close to 6 states in the country that didn't contribute in reporting or allowing access to driving history. I am not sure anymore though because adjectives the previous answer say yes. But surrounded by 2003 I moved and they were badly informed of my 6 tickets from when I was 16-19! Your history will follow you (ever hear of CLUE reports?). But you must notify your insurer of the address modification or obtain unmarked coverage.
