I get topical duty but robustness ins. coverage will start contained by 3 months. How roughly 63 days gap-will it be applied to me?
I had robustness ins. till Apr.30'2008 and started to work on 5/19/08 - it's less next 63 days. But will insurance count this period or actual perforation in coverage (3 weeks + 3 months) for pre-existing condition?
It's the actual crevice. Better sign up for the Cobra.
If you own a 90 day waiting time of year, that exceeds the 63 day hinder and means the bright carrier can apply a pre-existing clause to your coverage. I would suggest you take-home pay COBRA for at least 2 months and that agency you will not exceed the 63 day shorten. You need to ask your hot employer if the group coverage even has a pre-existing clause contained by it. They may not-especially if they are offering an HMO.
But, I woud be more worried about not have coverage until the new coverage kick in. Better travel with the COBRA.
Answers: No, it does not. According to the gov't regs, USC 1181(c)(2)(b) the waiting spell an employer imposes back they allow health insurance, does not count towards your 63 sunshine gap contained by coverage. However, thats still three months you'd not have any strength coverage.. it's up to you if you want to take that risk.
