Will the Insurance company make a contribution the information?
To make a short story long, I'm helping a friend near a hit and run accident valise. Little did the person that hit him know that her license plate had fall off at the scene. A Detective call her and she gave him an Insurance policy
number.
But I'm for a while suspicious that it might be invalid because I did a record check on her and the exceedingly next month from the time she hit my friend she be charged with letdown to stop and no proof of insurance. My question is , if I call the Insurance company to find out if the pollicy is valid or not , would they give that information out?

Talk to YOUR insurance agent. You could directory a claim with your insurance company who would surrounded by turn file a claim against the other driver and her insurance company if she have valid insurance. If her insurance was not valid, she would be liable one-sidedly.
Of course, she could have no assets and next this would get messy.
File a claim beside your insurance company under your uninsured motorist coverage. They will consequently handle adjectives the details and subrogate against the other party or their insurance company if they enjoy an in-force policy. Good luck!
Don't just ask if they enjoy the policy, file a claim. Submit a copy of the police report. They'll communicate you soon enough if the policy wasn't within effect. I hope she was arrested and if she doesn't hold insurance, sue her personally. Report the catastrophe to your friends insurance company as a last resort if he does not own the money for repairs, etc. They will pay the claim and afterwards go after her. Of course, if they don't verbs the money, they may count that against your friend. If the insurance company has to pay envelope out money, someone is going to be held accountable.
