file a police report first. later file the claim. they will pay you actual lolly value of the items and once you replace them and submit receipts showing you have done so, they will remuneration you the difference to replacement cost of the items.
Sure they'll foot out. As an adjuster, you can't expect everyone to keep EVERY receipt for every item within their home. Make sure you file the police report first though, because most policies will have an exclusion that won't rate out if you didn't file a report.
