How long does it appropriate to settle an estate?
Answers:
If everything is in charge and updated, and nothing is contested, it can be done within a couple months; if there's no will, or things are being contested, or within is a will and it's outdated, it can take years.
It could take anywhere from a few weeks to months. It depends on the lawers and if anything is contested by other party.

It depends on the assets of the decedant. If there be next to none, a few months probably smaller number. If there be a lot it could be years. We bought our house from an Estate & it have been put on the flea market about 7 months after the loss of the owner. I don't think near were a undamaged lot of assets. I know another house that was sold in the order of 2 yrs after the death of the owner. The Estate is not settled until adjectives the assets are distributed. I do not think any of these Estates were contested. If nearby were anyone that contested the will, it could nick many years (example - Anna Nicole Smith's husband - & it will still hold going only beside her Estate added into the mix).
