If someone else financed a tv, and someone else pays, who owns it?
Basically my fiance had his ex-girlfriend to fix a 50' blind TV. Its my understanding that if its within someone else name they rightfully own it (correct me if I am wrong). Although my fiance is the one that have been paying for it. In the terminate his ex is wrong for that, knowing his paying for it, and its in her autograph. To me she knew what she be doing all along.
My grill is, (if this happens to grasp serious) can they do an agreement that she pay final the money he paid on the TV, or can she achieve the TV in nonspecific and go on almost her life?
DRAMA, I can`t bear it.
Answers: Something like a TV that have no Title or legal ownership treatise is negotiable between the two individuals involved. If they can't come to an agreement a small claims court would probably find in favor of the resourceful owner, but may require that person to pay cheque back the money to the other creature if there be an agreement of a loan nature (even in recent times verbal).
If she owns it, she owns it. If he's nice enough to be paying for it, that's great. Paying for it doesn't automatically make available you ANY ownership interest.
It's fully possible for HER to own it, and for HIM to have guaranteed the loan. Meaning, he's paying for something he have no ownership of.
Sure, she can agree to pay him fund in writing, but why the heck would she want to? She have no incentive to pay him put a bet on. And no legal requirement, any.
