I need to find and inexpensive health insurance can anyone help?

My husband has a rare blood disorder and is on Medicare through Social security and we don't have alot of money but because of his illness it cost alot for suppliment insurance. Does anyone know how we can get some extra insurance that won't kill us we already lost our home because we spent so much on insurance and most places won't even cover this. Please only serious reply.
If you can't afford traditional health insurance (or the rates are

too high beacuse of a pre-existing condition) you can get

a discount health plan. Try this Site:

http://www.realmoneyideas.com Go to the "Cutting Expenses"

page. Read the section titled "Cut Insurance Costs" for more

information.
First off, you mention that your husband is on "MediCare" = this is an important fact, and one that excludes you from purchasing a traditional health plan. You are limited to two types:
1. Medicare Supplemental plan (as medicare will from now on be your primary, they will handle all claims- a supplemental will handle excess charges -DEPENDING ON POLICY- by medicare in what is referred to as "cross-over".
2. HMO Assignment- depending on where you live in America, a HMO plan may or may not be available.

I would suggest you call a "Medicare Health Insurance agency" in your area, who will be able to discuss your options with you, if you are in Southern California I can help you.
You have an option of looking into health care insurance providers online and comparing plans and rates to see if there may be something more reasonable that you and your husband can more easily afford.

You want to make sure you understand the coverages offered, coverage limits, deductibles, co-pays, and especially any exclusions for any Pre-existing conditions. Some plans may offer pre-existing conditions coverage - but they may be more expensive.

I recommend the two top-rated health insurance quote providers:

1) InsureMe - they give you the five best health insurance quotes from top-rated health insurers nationwide. To Request a free, no obligation quote, Go to - http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?ref...

2) eHealthinsurance.com offers you side-by-side quote comparisons from a large network of health insurers across the country.

I hope that helps! Take care and best of luck!

You might also try looking in your local Yellow Pages for independent health insurance agents. They represent several companies and can tell you what some of your options are.

Good luck!
Try getting quotes from them for free and advise which will help your problem, they are very helpful, all the best to you,

No such thing as inexpensive health insurance.

The least expensive way is to get it through your employer.
You might look into HSA accounts. If you currently have insurance then they generally won't exclude pre-existing conditions. This is a high deductible plan.
Try getting quotes from http://www.surfquotes.com it will not cost anything to get a quote. You may be able to use some of the money saving advice and tips for health insurance.
