What is the best website in the UK for buying travel insurance for trips to USA?
I am a freelance IT worker and need to go to my client's headquarters in USA and work there for 2 weeks. I will be grateful if someone can recommand a good web site for such insurances.
Go for annual travel insurance. Its much cheaper. I have mine through my bank, I pay monthly and get a load of other stuff attached with my bank account. Its so cheap
Check the Benefits you get bay using Visa/Mastercard to book your trips and making your purchases etc...those already have great benefits you can use for travel and they are already paid for just by using the card!! Rental Car Insurance, Airline Accident Insurance, Lost Luggage etc...
Here is the perfect place to look. Go to http://www.wavehelp.com/travel-medical/i... and compare the Worldwide Health plan from Travel Guard (the industry leader for good reason) and Patriot Travel Medical from IMG (another good company). They will have what you want. If your focus leans more toward concern about medical coverage, I'd recommend Worldwide Health from Travel Guard - they have trip interruption coverage included in the plan too but offer very robust health coverage. You can get all the information you need on-line and can purchase via the web too if that suits you.
Best wishes.
Try the major supermarkets such as ASDA,TESCO , you may be pleasantly surprised. I find they offer great value for money as far as insurance goes1
Answers:
squaremouth compares both UK and US products with sites in both countries. If you need medical cover in the USA, you will find policies offering much more medical cover if you buy them from the UK site. The advantage to buying from the US site right now is the exchange rate, however, the medical cover is a lower.
There is no real difference in quality of coverage as squaremouth looks after both UK and US clients.
