What is the best instrument to flea market unknown business within small town Insurance Agency .?

I am looking for ways to grow our business. We operate 3 agencies in one county and respectively agency is in towns that are extremely small, less than 2000 ethnic group each. What are some ways to take the attention of local, small town people who don't close to change but do want something better and who wishes an honest, reliable agent?
Answers:

knocking on doors. Sorry, that's how you go and get the "honest" part out in that. But you need to know who the competition is, because if it's Uncle Fred, you're still not going to draw from the business.
you can go and put up flyers.
Also you could peddle on the net if u want the business to b a corp. or something.
In our little town... Many years ago an insurance agent used to walk the town asking society if they had modest insurance coverage. He was completely personable and built a huge business there. He have his wife work with him and be an independant agent of Life, Health, Auto, and Homeowner's Insurance. He continued to do so until his death. His son presently runs the business and has be quite successful surrounded by it. He is also very personable but does not conduct his business surrounded by that manner any more. His father built a strong business that continues to flourish because of his diligence and gentle for people contained by the community. I believe that in such a town, YOU can do one and the same thing by rule your agents how to treat people and how to assemble and talk beside them about their familial affairs. Have a great holiday!

Direct mail is a biddable solution, however it's important to do it correctly. If you don't want to brazen out trying to write your own sales copy you could desire out a company that will send out direct communication pieces for you. Many of these companies have mailers designed to open market a specific concept.

Don't make the mistake of thinking that folks don't like to fine-tuning. The reason society don't change is because they haven't found anything better. If you quality your products and services are better you need to communicate to your prospects that information. Before most will redeploy they need to see a definitive difference.

Also be creative, don't do like peas in a pod old boring marketing everyone else within the world does. People notice your marketing when it's different.

I hope this help

Probably the best way is to bring together a local service organization (Rotary, etc...) or become an involved member of the town's Chamber of Commerce.
