Settlements after both hip surgery?
i had an agreed medical evaluation and the AME told me i need another hip replacement on the other side, and now the workers comp is deposing or requesting a deposition with the AME how long does this process takes before the settlements
It's very hard to say- workers' comp laws vary state by state. Most state workers' comp agencies (like the Division of Workers' Comp or Workers' Comp Commission or whatever you have in your state) have customer service reps who can advise you.
In the states I've worked with, it's unusual to settle before medical treatment has resolved, so it seems like you shouldn't be settling in the immediate future.
