Does insurance cover bariatric surgeries if in that is a robustness threatening judgment?
I have COPD, GERD and Arthiritis.
bariatric is always covered once it is proven that it is threatening and if its related to flabbiness then there is no problem... This is a special procedure and insurance may request for paperwork... so just keep the documents with you.. ok.
Yes normally your insurance would cover a bariatric surgery, especially if in that is a health threatening reason...I know someone who didn't enjoy major health problems and she have the lap band procedure done...she some problems next to her knees and back...and if your BMI is at or above the number...I think your BMI wants to be at 34 or higher to be considered for certain bariatric procedures, but you can check beside your physician, or in the internet...
Answers: There's no one size fits adjectives answer.
It depends on your policy, and what state you live in. You'll have to hail as the number on the back of your card and ask.
