SSI Disability?
What to do I get 1,468 from ss plus 100 from ins policy but Iwant to supplement my income but I am told that you can only gross 810 a month after that you lose your beniefits.I am 54 yrs and no skills was a Truck driver making 45,000 plus full beniefits I am not lazy just a bad back.I would like to go back to work No Scams just real work
SSI will deduct $1 from your benefits for every $2 you make. If you want to work thats great. And if you are capable, then it will probably make you feel better about yourself than collecting SSI. I would not worry about losing your benefits, because your earning potential at a "real job" could be higher and more rewarding.
get off of ssi and work then.

stinks don't it. They would probably pay for a schooling for you BUT they cut off the SSI. Other than that just a crummy part time job a couple days a week. Besides that is a heck of allot more money than some people get that they live on!
