Has anyone have a problem near Medi-Cal terminate their benefits while pregnant?
I received a notice from Medi-Cal asking me to letters a letter surrounded by proving I do not work, which I did! I sent the documents they asked for, I made the mistake of not sending it in certified messages! Now Medi-Cal is saying that never received that missive and my benefits will be terminated next month. I am going to appeal! Even worse my worker have originally told me not to send those post in and have me sign an affidavit stating I was out of work! I sent the letters surrounded by anyways because I received a 2nd notice! I am 6 1/2 months pregnant, can they simply take my form care away approaching this ?!?!? Advice please
Answers: Yes, they can terminate you if they don't receive the documentation they require. BUT if you dispatch in the documents-or better even so, take them into your worker-you will be re-instated (retro-actively) so in that will not be a break in coverage.
As long s your overnight case is not closed, you do not call for to appeal. Just give them what they are asking for.
Yes, they can.
If they aren't terminate until next month, I'd bring to the post office today, and transport something certified, return receipt.
