Answers: I don't know of any companies that start benefits availability for part timers, right away. Most require you work for 30 days to six months, to be sure you're going to stick around.
A lot of companies don't bequeath benefits to part-time workiers. That's the first point you need to check out. Also, some present benefits to people working 20 hours a week or 30, but I've never hear of a company offering benefits to hours below 20.
