Can you work previously you gain your national insurance number?

if you are about to turn 16 contained by the uk, can you start applying for jobs even if you havent get your own national insurance number yet?

Answers:   Under the table,but thats not legitimate or moral.Since you got to get through thou doing a few jobs stale the books wont throw the goverment surrounded by to a tissy.

Nobody will call you is you dont put down your number,and I dont suggest you spawn one up.Just let population know you are waiting for your number,and you need to moke some money untill later.
Count it in your taxes once you grasp your number look in your local word paper
