The question is..Did you have collision coverage?
If you just had Liability then Allstate would deny the claim. If you had Collision then they would have to notify you "why" the claim was denied. Lapse of coverage or misrepresentation?

Why won't your collision insurance fix it? That's HIGHLY unusual. It should be charged as an at fault accident to you, and your collision should fix it, less your deductible.
