Can I attain a NY Property and Casualty Insurance license in need working for an agency first?

Are pre licensing classes offered adjectives the time and how long do they typically last? How habitually is the test given?

Answers:   Yes, you can freshly take the pre-licensing class. I don't know if NY classes are like as Maine, but when I took the class it was three days long. I believe surrounded by Maine they only submission the class twice a year but they may offer it more within NY. I didn't see it listed on the rearing calendar on this website: http://www.iiaba.net/ny/default?ContentP... but it says if you hold any questions to e-mail the Education Department of the New York State Insurance Department at coned(a)ins.state.ny.us . They should know how to tell you when/where the subsequent class is. Good luck!
You absolutely can! here are a number of school running classes all the time. You can try Werbel, Kaplan, and Ace. There are other classes available. You can also try CW Post they offer classes as all right. There are a number of ways to bring back it. BUT. you can often procure a company to pay for adjectives your courses and the test if you are working for them. Probably the best entry to do is work for an agency... get some experience and at duplicate time have them recompense for your school. Good Luck! I don't know how it is within NY, i live in Florida and you can achieve your license without working for an agency first, you requirement to check with who issues license within NY and find out what the requirements are.
i took my pre licensing course online. license2go.com
and you can drop by pearsonvue.com to schedule for fingerprint and interview.
