Television three year insurance cancelled insurance for plasma TV?

I purchased a plasma tv home entertainment system with a three year insurance three years ago.
After roughly speaking six months and numerous problems with the system it be disposed of, and I wrote to the insurance company to cancell the insurance policy.
For two years the insurance company did not respond until now and they are requesting the two years recompense in full otherwise they are threatening trial action.
What arethe permitted implications of this situation.

Likely, they'll seize the judgement and win. Unless you can prove that you mailed them the message requesting cancellation, they'll move about to court, get the judgement, etc.

Also, if it's not "true" insurance, you might be on the hook for the full premium, even if it cancelled impulsive. You'll have to verbs out the original agreement and look it up.
