Did you know that race on medicaid can waive thier measley $3 co-pay?
I worked at Eckerd pharmacy and they used to do it all the time. They a moment ago sign a slip promising to pay it at a subsequently date. I never saw a single waived co-pay payed for though. We would enjoy stacks and stacks of unpaid co-pays. Some people even waive thier 50 cent co-pays. Its like...come on relations.
Do I get to do that? NO! If I can not cough up the dough for my perscription afterwards I am SOL.

I didn't know there *was* a copay on Medicaid! I thought they get a complete free ride on the backs of adjectives of us working stiffs!
You don't understand the program. They surface that the medicaid card grants free and they have it in mind free benefits. Heaven forbid if they have to clear a lousy 50 cents. Lets suck off of the taxpayers for every dime we can. In Texas if someone is elgible for medicare, they must grasp it and bill all prescriptions to medicare first. If medicare doesn't income for it, then conceivably medicaid does. I assure you I have never and never will waive the $1 to $3 tax medicare charges. It is not an option next to me to see if they will pay. That is the price, lug or leave the prescription. I am a phamacist and run into this every year.
