Can Badger Care be used newly for parenthood?

My husband and I are both self employed, and make ok money. I'd speak average. We're looking for individual health insurance...which is expensive...but do-able. But at hand is no such thing as righteous individual maternity coverage. Can I attain my own health insurance but use Badger Care for the pregnancy solitary?

Answers:   If you qualify for Badger Care by income and assets you can use both. Your regular individual insurance will be primary, and Medicaid will be secondary.

There is right individual maternity coverage but it is expensive because motherliness is more of a pre-payment plan. No insurance company is going to pay out more for your abdication than it receives within premium. If you don't qualify for Badger Care you are better off paying dosh for your delivery. Every doctor and hospital that I know of will set up a reimbursement plan for you.

Complications of pregnancy, such as a C-section, are covered with most plans even if you don't enjoy maternity coverage.
