In 1946, Congress passed a law that gave hospitals, nursing homes and other health facilities grants and loans for construction and modernization. In return, they agreed to provide a reasonable volume of services to persons unable to pay and to make their services available to all persons residing in the facility’s area. The program stopped providing funds in 1997, but about 300 health care facilities nationwide are still obligated to provide free or reduced-cost care.

CANCER PATIENTS:
http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/facts...

Financial Assistance and Other Resources for People With Cancer:Cancer imposes heavy economic burdens on both patients and their families. For many people, a portion of medical expenses is paid by their health insurance plan. For individuals who do not have health insurance or who need financial assistance to cover health care costs, resources are available, including Government-sponsored programs and services supported by nonprofit organizations. Cancer patients and their families should discuss any concerns they may have about health care costs with their physician, medical social worker, or the business office of their hospital or clinic.

Where can I go to get free or reduced-cost prenatal care?
You can call this number if you need free birth control help, too!
Women in every state can get help to pay for medical care during their pregnancies. This prenatal care can help you have a healthy baby. Every state in the United States has a program to help. Programs give medical care, information, advice and other services important for a healthy pregnancy.
To find out about the program in your state:
· Call 1-8OO-311-BABY (1-8OO-311-2229) This toll-free telephone number will connect you to the Health Department in your area code
· For information in Spanish, call 1-8OO-504-7081
· Call or contact your local Health Department.
That depends upon your situation, especially if you have pre-existing conditions. What's best for one person may not be best for another person and the company that's best for mom may not be best for the daughter. You should visit a local independent agent. This person works with many different companies and knows the market. They will be able to find the best plan for you and they won't charge you anything.

The area where you live will make a difference. A plan that's good in Phoenix and Tucson may not be good in Flagstaff because there may not be many doctors that take the plan in Flag.

We are licensed to provide health insurance in Arizona. I personally like Golden Rule and Blue Cross / Blue Shield of Arizona. Depending on your income, you might want to look at Health Savings Account qualified plans. They allow you to put away tax free $$ into an account that you can use to pay for qualified medical expenses while you are in your deductible period.

You can get free quotes from us by using the below link, but do not purchase anything w/o a thorough review from an agent/broker.
You can look at http://www.buyamericaninsurance.com/heal... for various health insurance products in Arizona. They have a wide variety of products available to suit your needs. And if you have any questions, they have licensed agent in Arizona that would be glad to help you.
Well, the most affordable is Medicaid, if you qualify. The second most affordable is through an employer, who will pick up a chunk of the tab.

Otherwise, you need a private policy. If mom is 30 and healthy, it's going to cost $250 a month for her, and $200 a month for the daughter. The daughter MIGHT be eligible for your state Children's Health Insurance Program, depending on mom's income.
