Am I entitled to my unused break when I quit or am fired?
Im in unknown york and i was fired from a temp agency, But they still owed me leave pay
I believe that when you are fired, you forego any benefits including unused vacation time. Sorry. Yes you are entitled to it, you have it saved up so it is something they owe you.
Each company does different things with their benefits. You might enjoy to contact the temp agency and see when they will be mailing out your time off fund. If it's not owed, they will definitely relay you then. Make sure you check beside your local labor laws on this...
But in general the answer is YES - they must pay you for unused leave.
