Can anyone recommend good a rental Insurance for California?

I'm new to this country and trying to find rental insurance is proving to be a bit difficult. Along with the standard earthquake cover everyone seems to offer, I need it to cover expensive jewellery / 2 bikes and accidental damage to lap top or a pc if possible.

I have tracked down one potential AAA Insurance, does anyone know if they are any good?

Any help much appreciated.

Answers:
AAA insurance is an agency, they're pretty good. You can also check with any local, independent agency for a variety of quotes. The jewelry, bikes, and computers shouldn't be a problem, but you'll have to pay extra for the jewelry and computers. The bikes, assuming they aren't motorized, would be covered like your contents.
Rental insurance is provided by a Property and Casualty insurance company. Usually a large company that provides your auto insurance can provide homeowners and/or rental insurance.

Used to cost less than $200 per month. But, you did say California, didn't you? No telling what the cost could be out there now, however, start with your auto insurer.
