Answers: No. truckers do not hold the option. We are moving into a phase of corporate feudal serfdom. Independent truck owners are kind of approaching cowboys. There are still a few of them around but they are mostly extinct. There are a whole lot of Peterbuilts parked in put money on yards. The smarter ones have lease themselves to the 5 big companies.
Fuel prices are to Truckers like fences within the West were to cowboys. Gotta hire on with a big outfit to stay alive.
