Is someone claiming on a piece of letters that they have returned you are lifeless a federal crime?

My exhusbands new wife wrote on an insurance piece of e-mail that they need not convey mail near ever again to that person, that this individual was lifeless. My insurance company contacted me immediately really concerned that I had expired. What should I do in relation to this act?
Answers:

Well it is deface your mail, and their tamper with your insurance is a legal concern if they may be interfering in your properly recieving your other messages, take it to the post department and say you want to wallet a complaint with the postal inspector's department. You will need an affadavit from your insurance company. I'm not trying to put in fuel to any fires here but they have no right to mess beside your mail or mess up any communications, communication, transactions or business of yours.
Wow. That's really creative. I wish I have thought of it when I was surrounded by the middle of my nasty divorce.

But I'd to what Cat say - take it to the postmaster of your post department . . . see if you can press charges.
