Not necessarily. The problem with anthropologists is that they're really with the sole purpose making educated guesses. They can't say-so with 100% demonstrability that anything they present is fact. I become very annoyed beside the anthropologist Steven Spielberg consulted when making "Jurassic Park" because he made comments like "We know these dinosaurs didn't do that" and "This is exactly what this dinosaur would own looked like." How the heck does he know? Was he near?
To answer your question: I wouldn't automatically adopt the notion that T. Rex was a pack hunter. I would hold to examine the evidence for myself and see how the researchers came up beside their theories.
