Need other pick for energy insurance other after military SGLI?
My hubby is going to deploy soon and I am thinking of getting a life insurance on the side of the one offered by the military. I dont wish anything happen to him but I was talking next to someone who told me that sometimes it takes years to get the insurance money from the SGLI . Im not individual money hungry I just want to make sure I'll hold enough to cover any cost if anything should happen, since I am a stay at home mom and own not been lucky enough to own enough money to save up. So that self said... Does anyone know any other life insurance for soldiers?

Being deployed is going to make any insurance company I know, not want to bestow him coverage.
I think you'll have to continue until he gets back.
Answers: There is lots of term insurance available that caters to the military - MOAA, AFSA, USBA, AFBA, etc. You will want to look closely at the lingo and exclusions, however, as it pertains to active service.
P.S. It does NOT "take years" to go and get SGLI benefits paid.
