Does insurance cover labiaplasty below any circumstances? i saw on one plastic surgeon's website that?
they may cover some cost...if so,what circumstances would you need for coverage?
Answers: Only if it is a medical necessity.
If it is for cosmetic reason - no.
I work for a health insurance company. We'd consider it not medically called for and cosmetic in quality. Therefore all expenses related to the service would be excluded beneath your benefits (i.e. anesthesia, facility charges, physician charges, etc.)
The patient would be 100% financially responsible.
Absolutely not. The with the sole purpose way MIGHT be is if you be born with some gross distortion, and that doesn't seem to be the travel case here.
