Answers:    There is not a soul best company because everyone's situation and needs are different. Also, most companies do not write surrounded by all states so the best one for you within my state may not even be available in your state. You should look in a local agent that works with adjectives the major companies contained by your area. The agent can find the best plan for your situation and budget and they don't charge any extra for the service.

Be amazingly wary of medical discount cards. They are not regulated by the Department of Insurance nor do the relations that sell them necessitate to be licensed. This means you own little recourse when you have problems next to the plan. If you are tempted by the low price and claims of “save up to 80%” be aware that totally few doctors actually purloin these cards. It does you little good if you hold to drive 4 hours to find a doctor that will accept the card. Montana couldn’t find any doctors contained by the whole state that in reality took the card and only one dentist who be on probation for unlawful activities so they prohibited the sale of the card and fined the company. See this relation http://www.insurancejournal.com/news/wes... for more information. Many other states are working to ban these cards as very well.

Before signing up with any discount plan capture a list of doctors. If they won’t administer you a list consider it to be a scam. Call the doctors on the chronicle to make sure they’re still taking the card (many don’t even know that they’re tabled as a provider) and that they’re accepting new patients.

Blue Cross or Blue Shield hold competitive rates for someone your age.

If you have access to Kaiser, I've found them to be pretty righteous (although you go to their services rather than choosing your own doctor).
